Hold off on any speculations about a divorce drama surrounding the Hochsteins in Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Miami.
Alexia Nepola made it clear in a lighthearted moment at the glamorous Pegasus World Cup event in Hallandale Beach, Fla., on January 25 that this season won’t focus on Lisa and Lenny.
Her close friend and co-star, Marysol Patton, added that Lisa has moved past the tumultuous chapter of her marriage. The couple’s messy breakup was finalized in November, which had been a dominant storyline for nearly two years.
Before wrapping up the conversation, Nepola humorously remarked about Lisa’s ex-husband.
“Nobody really cares about Lenny or his fiancée Katharina Mazepa,” she said, dressed in a vibrant pink Pucci ensemble. “Honestly, Lisa made him famous, and that’s the only reason he’s even a topic of discussion.”
Nepola emphasized that Season 7 has plenty more to offer, with fresh storylines beyond the past relationship drama. She expressed excitement about the addition of new cast member Stephanie Shojaee, calling her a “perfect fit” for the show.
“Stephanie is really strong, very opinionated, and she lives the lifestyle. She’s truly engaging,” Nepola shared. Despite their later disagreements, she confessed that she genuinely enjoys Shojaee’s presence on the show.
“There’s always someone coming after me, but that’s because I’m the star,” she joked, strolling down the pink carpet at Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino. “But honestly, I really like her. She’s a great addition.”
As the conversation shifted, Nepola reflected on the strong support from Patton throughout her own personal challenges during Season 7, especially with her divorce from Todd Nepola.
“Marysol has been my rock,” Nepola said emotionally. “We’re more like family, and that’s why I think I’m able to handle everything.”
Patton, visibly moved, added, “You’re going to make me cry. I was emotional all season.”
With a playful laugh, Nepola continued, “We’re both crybabies, but it’s because we’re real, and that’s why people connect with our show. It’s all happening in real time.”
Filming for Season 7 wrapped in December, but fans will have to wait a bit longer for the official premiere date.
The event also saw other celebrities like Mike Tyson, Ja Rule, Winnie Harlow, and others enjoying the thrilling race, followed by an evening of music and dancing with DJs Diplo and Black Coffee.
