Upon his discharge on January 10, Cole returned home only to find himself in immediate danger due to the Los Angeles wildfires. He quickly packed essential belongings, including cherished flowers from his late mother, Charleen Cole, who passed away in September 2021, and evacuated as flames approached his residence. He described the experience as a “nightmare” and shared a video of the encroaching fire on social media.
The wildfires, originating in the Pacific Palisades, have led to widespread evacuations in the Los Angeles area, affecting numerous residents, including celebrities like Paris Hilton and Mel Gibson, who have lost their homes.
