The 47-year-old actor was detained just after midnight on Monday in the parking lot of an Arby’s in Yreka, California, according to police records reviewed by TMZ. Authorities claimed that Welling’s blood alcohol content was at or above the legal limit of 0.08 percent.
In his mug shot, Welling appeared composed, dressed in a black shirt with a salt-and-pepper beard. It is unclear whether the actor resides in Yreka, although reports suggest he and his family live on a ranch in Northern California.
Welling’s arrest came just one day after his wife, Jessica Welling, celebrated her birthday. On Sunday, he posted a heartfelt tribute to her on Instagram, writing, “Happy Birthday to our Angel who makes our dreams come true and inspires us even more.” He also shared a series of photos of her.
The couple, married in November 2019, have two sons: Thomson Wylde, 6, and Rocklin Von, who turned 3 earlier this month. Welling was previously married to model Jamie White from 2002 to 2015.
