Matt James, star of the 25th season of “The Bachelor”, announced the end of his relationship with Rachael Kirkconnell after four years together. In a post on Instagram, James shared a faith-based message, asking for strength and peace after their decision to separate. He stressed the importance of support from friends and family during this difficult time.
The news was particularly surprising as, just a few hours earlier, James had shared videos of a romantic trip the couple had taken to London. Kirkconnell has not yet spoken publicly about the split, and her last Instagram post about James was in December 2024, celebrating his birthday.
The couple met while filming “The Bachelor” in 2020. Although they didn’t get engaged at the end of the show, they began a relationship that faced public challenges, including racial controversies related to Kirkconnell’s past. After a brief separation due to these controversies, they got back together and remained together until their recent break-up.
